Yamagata Carrozzeria Project

There is a man who challenges to develop new manufacturing technologies. An industrial designer Kiyoyuki Yamagata born in Yamagata. He has experiences in working at car manufacturers around the world, and was a design director for the prestigious design studio, Pininfarina in Italy. In 2006 he established "Yamagata Koubou", adopting an unique manufacturing system which promotes regional collaboration. It is a Carrozzeria-type system in which products of high value are developed by joined forces of high technologies.
