UNICEF and WWF to cooperate in a worldwide campaign
Tokyo takes global leadership - "Tap Tokyo"
United Nations established March 22 of each year as World Water Day. The "Tap Project" is an activity of recent years that supports UNICEF in which to provide clean and safe water to children and others throughout the world by paying 100 yen or more for a glass of water normally free, on World Water Day. Tokyo took leadership this year organizing "Tap Tokyo" held March 20th through 22nd. more than 200 famous restaurants in Tokyo approved the idea while chefs vigorously cooperated in the event campaign. The contributions will be sent to the Republic of Madagascar in April.
