Social action program of Estee Lauder Companies and Evelyn Lauder (wife of Chairman Leonard A Lauder and Senior Corporate Vice President of Estee Lauder Companies) exist together. Their pink ribbon activity enters their 16th year, but the corporate's action program have been known for years. As a Director of the Lauder Foundation, she was involved in a park improvement project building a new playground for children inside the Central Park or refurbishing old facilities, as well as contributing to charities and cultural activities. She also participated in a broad array of unprofitable activities, such as health, social work services, education, environment, women's rights and art, etc. In relation to her personal interests, she launched a photo exhibition of her works taken while traveling the world with her husband and published the selection, in which the profit was contributed to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
